Tesla chief Elon Musk took to X to reply to a post comparing the budget of India’s moon mission Chandrayaan-3 with the Hollywood film Interstellar. His response to the post has prompted people to share varied comments. Musk responded to the post with praise for India. “Good for India,” the billionaire tweeted.
In contrast, Christopher Nolan’s epic Interstellar, with Matthew McConaughey in the lead, is a movie about space adventure. The film was made with a total budget of $165 million.
Parties and prayers are being held with equal fervour ahead of the historic lunar touchdown. Mssion Chandrayaan-3 is set to land on Moon’s south pole region. ISRO launched its lunarcraft on 14 July and since then, the space agency is sharing information about the significant manoeuvres that the lunarcraft underwent in space.
Director General of the Indian Space Association, Lt Gen (Retd) Anil Kumar Bhatt said that “it will be a proud moment for the people of India.”
Chandrayaan means “moon craft” in Sanskrit is preparing to land on Moon and all eyes are on to witness this historic moment. Citizens of India along with world are waiting eagerly to hear the good news.
