The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, is organising the Youth20 Summit-2023, which started in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh from August 17 and will end on August 20 . Youth20 Summit-2023 is being organised at Super Computing Centre and Precision Engineering Hub, Benaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP.
The Y20 Summit inaugural session will be attended by Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Nisith Pramanik, Union Minister of State (MoS) for Youth Affairs & Sports and Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh.
The summit, which is taking place under the framework of the G20 Presidency of India, will see the participation of over 125 delegates from 29 countries and 13 international organisations.
The Y20 Summit is bringing together leading experts, decision makers, national and international delegates and representatives from G20 countries, guest countries and international organizations to negotiate, finalize and signing the Y20 Communiqué created from the conclusions of the various deliberations and discussions from past few months.
The Y20 summit gives a platform for youth to express their voices and ideas on G20 priorities.
Y20 India serves as the official youth engagement group of G20, where young individuals from all G20 member nations to engage in meaningful dialogues and consultations with one another.
