G20: Distance between India-Europe will be reduced by thousands of km: Ashwini Vaishnaw

Numerous crucial talks took place during the G20 conference, during which many key agreements were reached. Using the telecom sector as an example, equipment design and production received attention in America, resulting in increasing exports. Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, with the development related to India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor, distance between India-Europe will be reduced by thousands of km.

Vaishnaw said, along with G-20, many bilateral meetings were held in which many important agreements were reached. For example, in the telecom sector, equipment designed and manufactured in India got recognition in America’s ‘Rep and Replace Program’. This will increase exports and equipment made in India will get a market like America.

Talking about the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor, Railways Minister also said that the distance between India and Europe will be reduced by thousands of kilometers. He further said that trade, transport, facilities, and opportunities will increase between India, Europe, and the Middle East.

“India-Middle East-Europe, these regions have a very good alignment. They have a common thinking and shared values. Now, the distance between India and Europe will be reduced by thousands of kilometers. Along with this, trade, transport, facilities and opportunities will also increase between India, Europe and the Middle East,” said Vaishnaw.
