G20 University Connect Finale: PM Modi inspires Youth, highlights India’s success on global stage

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the G20 University Connect Finale at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, highlighting India’s achievements, diplomatic successes, and the role of the youth in shaping the nation’s future.

PM Modi commenced his addressal by acknowledging the vibrancy of the G20 Summit held at the same venue just two weeks prior. He expressed pride in the energetic involvement of India’s youth, emphasizing their pivotal role in the success of such large-scale events. The Prime Minister credited India’s rising prominence on the world stage to the youthful energy of the nation.

During the event, PM Modi released four publications namely: The Grand Success of G20 Bharat Presidency: Visionary Leadership, Inclusive Approach, India’s G20 Presidency: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, Compendium of G20 University Connect Programme, and Showcasing Indian Culture at G20.

Recapping the remarkable achievements of the last 30 days, PM Modi noted milestones such as the successful Chandrayaan mission and the launch of India’s solar project, highlighting India’s impressive range in space exploration. He also touched upon India’s diplomatic achievements, including the BRICS Summit, a historic visit to Greece, and meetings with world leaders in Indonesia.

Underlining the significance of these diplomatic endeavors, he lauded the unanimous New Delhi Declaration as a global headline and highlighted transformative decisions of the G20, such as the inclusion of the African Union, the International Biofuel Alliance, and the India Middle East European corridor.

PM Modi further discussed the substantial investment by Saudi Arabia and his meetings with 85 world leaders, emphasizing the benefits of India’s growing international profile for the youth.

Shifting focus on domestic developments, the Prime Minister highlighted initiatives aimed at empowering marginalized communities and the middle class, including the PM Vishwakarma Yojna and Rozgar Melas. He also mentioned significant advancements in electric mobility and infrastructure development.

The Prime Minister urged the youth to think big, illustrating how India transformed the G20 into a people-driven national movement, involving over 1 lakh students from 100 universities. He stressed that the next 25 years are critical for India and its youth, highlighting the nation’s rapid economic growth, foreign investment, and improvements in various sectors.

PM Modi shared encouraging statistics, including 5 crore registrations on EPFO payroll and the exponential growth of startups, while emphasizing the importance of political stability and policy clarity in India’s progress. He urged the youth to lead India towards becoming a developed and self-reliant nation by 2047, emphasizing their pivotal role in the country’s future.

In conclusion, PM Modi called on the youth to participate in a nationwide cleanliness campaign, promote digital transactions, and support “Vocal for Local” by purchasing Indian-made products. He urged campuses to make Khadi a fashion statement and expressed confidence in the youth’s resolve to contribute to India’s prosperity.
