The Prime Minister welcomed all the key leaders who arrived at the Bharat Mandapam, the venue of the G-20 Summit at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. Prominent leaders arriving at the G-20 summit venue include World Bank President Ajay Banga, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director and Chairman Kristalina Georgieva, and World Trade Organisation (WTO) Director General Ngozi Okonjo. -Evila included.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the world leaders while standing at the Bharat Mandapam, just behind which a replica of the famous 13th-century artwork Konark Chakra has been installed. This circle is considered a symbol of time, progress, and constant change. The two-day G-20 summit held in New Delhi will run from September 9 and 10.
