Riyadh | Clean India | Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign | Indian Embassy Riyadh

The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has taken a big step towards a cleaner and more environmentally friendly India by joining the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. The series of events started with the Swachhata Pledge, where the Embassy team promised to become Swachhata Warriors and help make India cleaner under the Swachh Bharat and Garbage Free India campaigns, inspired by the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi.

Ambassador Dr. Suhel Khan and Deputy Chief of Mission Shri Abu Mathen George led the Embassy’s Swachhata Warriors in a big cleaning effort at various places in the Embassy, including the courtyard, gardens, and offices.

Earlier, the Embassy also organized an interesting skit performed by school students. This skit was like a warm-up for the upcoming Swachhata Pakhwada and was part of the bigger Swachata Hi Seva campaign.

The Indian Embassy in Riyadh joining the #SwachhataHiSeva2023 campaign shows that Indians abroad also care deeply about keeping India clean and healthy. It reminds us of Mahatma Gandhi’s words and his love for a clean India. This campaign is inspiring people all over the country to work together for a cleaner country.
