Since its inception, the Indian Panorama has remained steadfast in its commitment to showcasing the very best of Indian cinema each year.

The films selected for inclusion in the Indian Panorama section not only aim to promote the art of filmmaking but also find themselves featured in non-profit screenings at international film festivals, both within India and abroad. Additionally, these films take center stage in Indian Film Weeks, which are part of Bilateral Cultural Exchange Programs, and are a highlight of specialized Indian Film Festivals, even beyond the realms of established cultural exchange protocols. Special Indian Panorama festivals held in India further contribute to the promotion of cinematic excellence and the propagation of Indian culture and art.
