Our roller skating team has done it and it’s time for India to cherish the roller skating glory. At the ongoing Asian Games 2022, both the men’s and women’s roller skating Indian team stood on the final podium.
Both the men’s and women’s speed skating relay team bagged the bronze medal in the 3000m Relay Final in their respective categories.

While, the women’s team consisted of Karthika Jagadeeswaran, Heeral Sadhu, and Aarathy Kasturi Raj, the men’s team included Anandkumar Velkumar, Vikram Rajendra Ingale and Siddhant Rahul Kamble. The teams displayed their skill and balance while securing their medals.

Following their win, India’s Sports Minister, Anurag Singh Thakur congratulated the team, saying, “Their display of incredible speed, impeccable balance, and remarkable teamwork led to this impressive feat. Each stride showcased their dedication and determination, making the nation beam with pride.”
