The visit aimed to assess the progress of the campus’s construction, which is set to bolster India’s presence in the field of technical education and research on the global stage.

The establishment of IIT-Delhi’s campus in Abu Dhabi marks a significant milestone in the institution’s expansion plans. The campus will offer a diverse range of programs, targeting key areas such as computer science, artificial intelligence, energy and sustainability, healthcare, and various research initiatives in its initial phase.

One of the most exciting aspects of IIT-Delhi’s international campus in the UAE is its inclusive approach to admissions. It is set to welcome not only Indian expatriates but also Emiratis and students from all around the world, fostering an environment of global learning and cultural exchange.

During the visit, the Union Education Minister met with Sara Musallam, Chairperson of the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK).
