The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Saturday that the 401st Brigade has eliminated around 150 terrorists and gained control of Hamas strongholds in northern Gaza. The targets included arms production sites, launching stations, and an underground network.
In a separate incident, the IDF conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah terrorist targets in Lebanon in response to recent launches. The strikes targeted terrorist infrastructure, military posts, weapons depots, and intelligence facilities.
On Friday, three aircraft infiltrated Israeli territory from Lebanon, with one intercepted by the IDF’s aerial defense system, and the other two falling in the north. Additionally, the IDF’s Artillery Corps’ 7th Brigade conducted operations in a Hamas military post and training compound in Gaza. Soldiers searched the office of Muhammad Sinwar, brother of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, discovering military doctrine documents. The IDF secured buildings, seized weapons, and eliminated about 30 terrorists.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to French President Emmanuel Macron’s call for Israel to cease attacks on civilians in Gaza. Netanyahu emphasized that Hamas is responsible for civilian deaths, asserting that Israel is making every effort to avoid harm while Hamas uses civilians as human shields.
PM Netanyahu accused Hamas of committing crimes in Gaza and warned that such attacks could extend to other nations. He urged world leaders to condemn Hamas and not Israel, stating that the crimes committed by Hamas today in Gaza could be replicated globally in the future.
