According to Meteo France, the department is expected to endure continuous rainfall until Friday.
Northern Germany is grappling with flooding, prompting rescue workers to erect temporary dams using large water-filled containers and metal sheets. Meteorologists have issued warnings of additional rain in the coming days. The western German state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the eastern states of Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt are also dealing with flooding resulting from heavy rainfall in those areas. Meteorological forecasts indicate that more rain from western France’s Brittany region will reach northern Germany by Friday.
