The India International Science Festival (IISF) 2023 is set to commence on Wednesday, organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). Running until January 20, the event will celebrate India’s achievements in science and technology.
Coordinated by the National Innovation Foundation-India, the 9th edition of IISF will be hosted by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) institutes in Faridabad, Haryana.
The central theme for IISF 2023 is “Science and Technology Public Outreach in Amrit Kaal.” The festival aims to recognize scientific accomplishments, foster scientific interest among youth, and raise awareness among the public.
With the participation of 22 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Germany, Japan, and the United States, IISF 2023 is expected to showcase India’s R&D breakthroughs.
Recognized as the largest science festival since 2015, IISF involves 17 scheduled events, highlighting outreach in research and development institutes, laboratories, and schools.
