Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the country’s biggest global trade show today in Gandhinagar, a day before the commencement of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024. The prime minister’s agenda includes bilateral discussions with international leaders, including the presidents of East Timor and Mozambique, at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. Subsequently, he will engage in a meeting with the CEOs of leading global corporations.
Later in the day, PM Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will jointly lead a road show originating from outside the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.
The inauguration of the tenth edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is scheduled for tomorrow at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.
Covering an area of two lakh square meters, the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show is poised to become India’s largest global trade exhibition to date. The event will witness participation from 100 countries as visiting nations, with an additional 33 countries joining as partners.
The trade show will showcase over 1,000 exhibitors in the research sector, representing 20 countries, including Australia, South Korea, Singapore, UAE, UK, Germany, and Norway.
The exhibition will also feature 13 dedicated halls, each themed around various concepts, such as ‘Make in Gujarat’ and ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’. Additionally, around 450 MSME units are set to participate in the trade show.
Cutting-edge products and services across diverse sectors, including emerging industries such as electric vehicles, green hydrogen, renewable energy, semiconductors, and cybersecurity, will be highlighted in the trade exhibition.
