The 75th Republic Day celebrations will be witnessed by distinguished guests from different fields. To make the occasion further special, the government plans to honour several beneficiaries of central government schemes by inviting them to witness the momentous parade.
Aligning with it, the Ministry of Agriculture has invited over 1500 farmers to witness India’s 75th Republic Day Parade at New Delhi. The list includes beneficiaries of various central government schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana etc, who will have the opportunity to watch the 75th Republic Day Parade.
As a part of this celebration, a comprehensive training session on key government initiatives like AIF, M&T, National Seeds Cooperation, and Per Drop More Crop, coupled with a field visit to PUSA Campus, is scheduled for the farmers on January 25.
On January 26, the special invitees will witness the Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path. Following the parade, the farmers will gather at Subramaniam Hall, PUSA, for a special program in gracious presence of Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Tribal Affairs, Shri Arjun Munda, who will be expressing his gratitude to the farmers for their indispensable role in bolstering the economy and highlight the government’s commitment to supporting them through various schemes.
Following the address, the farmers will have the opportunity for a photo session with Ministers and dignitaries and conclude the day with a curated lunch. This celebration is set to highlight MoA&FW’s dedication towards development, recognizing and appreciating the tireless efforts of the agricultural community.
