Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Wednesday inaugurated a year-long pan-India initiative titled ‘Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Samman’ in New Delhi, marking the 75th Year of India as a Republic.

The campaign’s primary objective is to empower every citizen to actively contribute to India’s democratic journey. Throughout the year, various themes such as ‘Sabko Nyay – Har Ghar Nyaya,’ ‘Nav Bharat Nav Sankalp,’ and ‘Vidhi Jagriti Abhiyan’ will be explored.

The ‘Sabko Nyay – Har Ghar Nyaya’ initiative seeks to connect villagers through Village Level Entrepreneurs of the Common Service Centers, encouraging them to take the ‘Sabko Nyay’ pledge. The ‘Nyaya Sahayaks’ will lead awareness campaigns about citizen-centric legal services at the grassroots level. At the state/UT level, ‘Nyaya Seva Mela’ will offer platforms for individuals to seek guidance and support on legal services and government schemes.

The ‘Nav Bharat Nav Sankalp’ initiative aims to inspire the masses to adopt the resolutions of ‘Panch Pran’ by reading the ‘Panch Pran Pledge.’ Citizens can showcase their talents through activities like ‘Panch Pran Rangotsav’ (Poster Making competition) and ‘Panch Pran Anubhav’ (Reel/Video making competition). The campaign also includes engaging quizzes on the Constitution hosted on the MyGov platform.

The ‘Vidhi Jagriti Abhiyan’ involves students in carrying the message of ‘Panch Pran’ to villages adopted by law colleges under the Pro Bono Club scheme. It aims to disseminate legal information engagingly and memorably, reaching vulnerable sections of society through initiatives like ‘Gram Vidhi Chetna,’ ‘Vanchit Varg Samman,’ and ‘Nari Bhagidari.’

Addressing the gathering, Vice President Dhankhar called for remembering the nation’s forgotten heroes and rediscovering India. He highlighted India’s remarkable economic growth, becoming the fifth-largest economy and soon expected to secure the third position, making the country a global focal point.

The launch also introduced ‘Nyaya Setu,’ designed to extend legal services to the last mile. Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said that these initiatives aim to ensure access to justice for all citizens, especially those who have been left out.
