The 21st round of talks between Indian and Chinese Corps Commanders took place at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point on February 19, marking a continued effort to achieve complete disengagement in the remaining areas along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.
The meeting was characterized by a friendly and cordial atmosphere, with both sides building upon the progress made in previous rounds. Perspectives were exchanged, highlighting the significance of resolving outstanding issues to ensure stability in the region.
Following the discussions, an agreement was reached to maintain ongoing communication through relevant military and diplomatic channels. Additionally, both parties reiterated their commitment to upholding peace and tranquility on the ground in the border areas during the interim period.
