National Arogya Fair concludes promoting traditional healing practices

The National Arogya Fair, organized by the Puran Chandra Gupta Smarak Trust with the support of the Ministry of Ayush, took place from February 1 to February 4, 2024, at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.

The primary goal of the event was to showcase the benefits and principles of various traditional healing practices, including Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. The organizers aimed to raise awareness and promote the adoption of holistic health and wellness practices. The fair also aimed to encourage collaboration and knowledge-sharing among practitioners, experts, and enthusiasts in the field, providing a platform for businesses and vendors to promote products and services related to Ayush systems.

During the closing ceremony, Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai expressed his satisfaction with the National Arogya Fair, emphasizing its role in bringing together people from different backgrounds to explore various aspects of Ayush. He highlighted the success of panel discussions and the valuable insights gained during the fair.

The minister acknowledged the significant progress made in prioritizing holistic health in public healthcare delivery over the past ten years. He credited the Indian government for adopting a whole-government approach and focusing on the Ministry of Ayush and Traditional Medicine Systems of India.

The event showcased India’s diverse healing traditions, featuring workshops, seminars, exhibitions on Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, Naturopathy, and Homeopathy. Attendees also enjoyed free health consultations and cultural programs.
