PM Modi hails Ashwamedha Yagya as catalyst for social transformation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today participated in the Ashwamedha Yagya organized by the Gayatri Parivar through a video message. The Prime Minister lauded the event as a “grand social campaign” that resonates with the aspirations of Acharya Shri Ram Sharma and contributes to nation-building efforts.

Highlighting the pivotal role of youth in shaping India’s destiny, PM Modi commended the Gayatri Parivar for steering millions of young individuals away from addiction towards constructive activities. He extended heartfelt wishes to the organization for their commitment to this noble cause, emphasizing the importance of their efforts in inspiring individuals through the teachings of Acharya Shri Ram Sharma and Mata Bhagwati.

Addressing the pressing issue of substance abuse, PM Modi reiterated the government’s commitment to a Drug-Free India initiative, engaging over 11 crore people across the nation. He underscored the devastating impact of addiction on individuals and societies, emphasizing the need for preventive measures and strong family support systems.

Furthermore, PM Modi emphasized the government’s focus on empowering youth through initiatives like sports and science. He cited the success of Chandrayaan and initiatives like the Fit India Movement and Khelo India in channeling the energy of the youth towards positive endeavors.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the significance of collective efforts in national and global initiatives, stressing the involvement of youth in campaigns such as ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’ and ‘One sun, one world, one grid.’

Referring to the newly launched organization ‘Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat),’ PM Modi noted the overwhelming response from more than 1.5 crore registered youth, showcasing the potential for harnessing youth power for nation-building.

Prime Minister Modi expressed confidence in India’s journey towards becoming a global leader, fueled by individual and national development efforts. He envisioned a glorious future for India, marked by collective progress and prosperity.
