PM Modi inaugurates multiple development projects in Dwarka, Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone and dedicated several development projects worth over Rs 4150 crores in Dwarka, Gujarat, marking a significant stride towards the region’s progress. The projects encompass diverse sectors, aiming to enhance connectivity, infrastructure, and tourism.

The Prime Minister inaugurated Sudarshan Setu, a remarkable bridge connecting Okha mainland and Beyt Dwarka, fulfilling a long-standing need for improved connectivity in the region. This bridge, a testament to engineering marvel, not only facilitates easier access for pilgrims but also adds to the spiritual ambiance of the area. PM Modi, reflecting on his recent visit to pilgrimage sites, emphasized the profound significance of Dwarka Dham in the religious fabric of the nation.

Furthermore, PM Modi dedicated various infrastructure projects including rail electrification, pipeline projects, and the installation of the Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) system at Sikka Thermal Power Station. These initiatives not only bolster the region’s infrastructure but also contribute towards sustainable development and environmental preservation.

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi highlighted the transformative impact of modern connectivity on national prosperity, underscoring the mantra of ‘Vikas bhi Virasat bhi’. He commended Gujarat’s emergence as a burgeoning hub of tourism, citing its rich cultural heritage and natural wonders. With renewed focus on upgrading centers of faith and enhancing tourist facilities, Gujarat stands poised to attract a growing number of visitors from around the globe.

Reflecting on the journey of Gujarat, PM Modi lauded the resilience and resolve of its people, particularly in regions like Saurashtra. He recounted the successful implementation of initiatives like the SAUNI Yojana, which addressed longstanding challenges such as water scarcity and agricultural sustainability.

The event witnessed the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other dignitaries, signifying a collaborative effort towards realizing the vision of a prosperous and developed Gujarat.

PM Modi expressed confidence in the region’s trajectory towards success, invoking the blessings of Dwarkadhish and envisioning a future of progress and prosperity for Saurashtra and Gujarat.
