Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone and dedicated several development projects worth over Rs 4150 crores in Dwarka, Gujarat, marking a significant stride towards the region’s progress. The Prime Minister inaugurated Sudarshan Setu, a remarkable bridge connecting Okha mainland and Beyt Dwarka, fulfilling a long-standing need for improved connectivity in the region. This bridge, a testament to engineering marvel, not only facilitates easier access for pilgrims but also adds to the spiritual ambiance of the area. PM Modi, reflecting on his recent visit to pilgrimage sites, emphasized the profound significance of Dwarka Dham in the religious fabric of the nation.
Furthermore, PM Modi dedicated various infrastructure projects including rail electrification, pipeline projects, and the installation of the Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) system at Sikka Thermal Power Station.
