Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone for the Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday. During the ceremony, he emphasized India’s remarkable progress in development and innovation, positioning the nation as a global leader.
PM Modi highlighted India’s transition into a nation setting examples rather than following them. He praised India’s prowess in digital technology and innovation, asserting that the country has become synonymous with possibilities in various fields.
During his speech, PM Modi outlined the government’s commitment to improving the standard of living for all citizens through several developmental initiatives. These include the provision of four crore pucca houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 10 crore connections for drinking water, and assistance to 10 crore farmers through the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Additionally, 80 crore people have benefitted from free ration distribution.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised PM Modi’s transformative leadership and highlighted the development projects underway in Sambhal district, including the establishment of an industrial cluster and the construction of the Ganga Expressway. He also emphasized continuous support for local handicrafts and crafts.
Chairman of the Shri Kalki Dham Temple Trust, Pramod Krishnam, also addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude and highlighting the temple’s role in fostering spirituality and cultural heritage.
