Global Spirituality Mahotsav 2024 to unite spiritual leaders at Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad

The Ministry of Culture (Special Cell) in collaboration with Heartfulness is set to host the Global Spirituality Mahotsav from March 14 to 17 at Kanha Shanti Vanam, the world’s largest meditation center located in Hyderabad. This spiritual congregation aims to bring together leaders from various faiths and beliefs under one roof, emphasizing the theme of “Inner Peace to World Peace.”

The summit will witness the esteemed presence of the President and Vice President of India, Droupadi Murmu and Jagdeep Dhankhar respectively, on March 15 and 16. Notable spiritual leaders, including Chinna Jeeyar Swami of Sri Vaishnavism, Bodhamayananda of the Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, and Rev. Daaji of Heartfulness & President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, announced the event’s significance at a press conference in Hyderabad.

Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Development of North-Eastern Region, G. Kishan Reddy, highlighted India’s role as the Spiritual Capital of the world, emphasizing its rich cultural heritage and contributions to spiritual knowledge. He expressed India’s commitment to promoting peace and well-being through practices like Yoga and meditation, which have garnered global attention.

With the theme “Inner Peace to World Peace,” the Global Spirituality Mahotsav aims to foster interfaith dialogue and connect individuals of all ages and backgrounds with spirituality in their daily lives. Over 100,000 participants are expected to attend the four-day summit, which will feature panel discussions, cultural programs, exhibitions on India’s spiritual history, and immersive experiences in spirituality.

Renowned organizations such as the Ramakrishna Mission, The Art of Living Foundation, Isha Foundation, and many others will come together to make this event a success. The summit will serve as a platform for spiritual leaders to discuss and collaborate on promoting peace and harmony globally.

Chinna Jeeyar Swami emphasized the significance of unity among religions, likening it to the cooperation of fingers in a hand. He stressed the need for mutual respect and understanding among diverse faiths, highlighting India’s role as a beacon of spiritual harmony.
