The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated heavy rainfall in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand on Tuesday.
The weather agency said that scattered to moderate rainfall is likely over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha during next four days. It also predicted the possibility of hailstorm and squall in the region on Tuesday.
Furthermore, light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are expected in Jharkhand, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Eastern Madhya Pradesh and Bihar till March 21. Hailstorm is also expected in these regions till Tuesday.
Additionally, light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur in Telangana for next three days. Hailstorm is also expected in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam till Thursday.
