The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued forecasts for Tuesday predicting continued rain and thunderstorm activity in various parts of the country. These weather conditions are expected to persist in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
Additionally, IMD anticipates light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in Gangetic West Bengal. The weather authority has also forecasted light rainfall and snowfall over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand until Friday.
While some regions brace for wet weather, Northwest India is expected to experience a rise in maximum temperatures. The IMD forecasts an increase of two to three degrees Celsius in maximum temperatures over the next three days.
The rise in temperatures is expected to impact several states including south Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. Maximum temperatures in these areas are projected to range between 36 to 40 degrees Celsius.
Residents in the affected regions are advised to stay updated with weather forecasts and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety during these weather conditions.
