Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party President, Pashupati Kumar Paras has resigned as the union cabinet minister. On Tuesday, the former Union Minister for Food Processing Industries in a letter to PM Modi informed about his resignation from the post, citing indispensable reasons.
His resignation comes a day after the BJP-led NDA announced its seat-sharing pact and gave five seats to the Chirag Paswan-led LJP (Ram Vilas).
The former union minister while announcing his resignation at a press conference said, yesterday, the NDA alliance announced the list of 40 candidates for Bihar Lok Sabha…Our party had five MPs & I worked with utmost sincerity. However, Paras did not disclose his plans for the future.
