PM Modi presents National Creators Award across 20 categories

Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the first National Creators Award in New Delhi on Friday. With over 150,000 nominations across 20 categories and approximately 10 lakh votes, the award aims to recognize excellence across diverse creative fields.

Addressing the gathering at Bharat Mandapam, PM Modi said, “You have carved a niche for yourselves and that’s why you are here at Bharat Mandapam. This venue, where the G20 was organized, served as a platform for discussing the future of the world. Today, you have convened here to deliberate on shaping the future of India.”

Malhar Kalambe, recipient of the first-ever National Creators Award in the ‘Swachhta Ambassador’ category, expressed his eagerness to collaborate with the PM in the cleanliness campaign (safai abhiyan).

In response, the PM remarked: “Iss chunaav mein bhi safai hone wali hai (In the upcoming polls too, there is going to be a clean sweep).”

Other categories for the award include the best storyteller, disruptor, celebrity creator, green champion, creator for social change, most impactful agri creator, cultural ambassador, best travel creator, new India champion, tech creator, heritage fashion, most creative creator (male and female), best creator in the food category, best creator in education, and international creator.
