India’s Jawaharlal Nehru University has emerged as the highest-ranked Indian university in the World University Rankings list.
The ranking was released by London-based higher education analytics firm, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
JNU has been ranked 20th under the subject of Development Studies.
Furthermore, the university was also the country’s top-ranked university in the subjects of Geography, History, Modern Languages, Politics & International Relations, Anthropology, English Language & Literature, and Linguistics.
