The President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday adorned the prestigious Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri Awards to deserving individuals at the Civil Investiture Ceremony-II in the grand Darbar Hall of the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Notable figures such as the Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with various Union Ministers and dignitaries graced the occasion.
Following the ceremony, Amit Shah, hosted a dinner at his residence in New Delhi, where he and other Union Ministers engaged in interactions with the Padma Awardees.
On May 10, 2024, the Padma Awardees will pay homage at the National War Memorial. Additionally, they are scheduled to visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan and Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya as part of their itinerary.
