Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan today launched several key educational initiatives and international partnerships aimed at enhancing the state’s educational landscape and providing employment opportunities for its youth. The event took place at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai.
Among the initiatives, the Governor launched the second phase of the ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Shala, Sundar Shala’ program, along with the ‘Maha Vachan Utsav’ and ‘Majhi Parasbaug’ initiatives, all of which are spearheaded by the School Education Department of the Government of Maharashtra.
In a significant move towards creating job opportunities, Governor Radhakrishnan also unveiled the logo and QR code for a program dedicated to registering and providing employment and skill development opportunities for the youth of Maharashtra in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The event also marked the signing of important Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). The Department of School Education signed an MoU with Goethe Institutes in Mumbai and Pune to facilitate the teaching of the German language to young people in Maharashtra. Another MoU was signed with Brihan Maharashtra Mandal America, focused on teaching Marathi in the United States.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed the gathering via a digital platform.
