A fierce encounter between security forces and terrorists is currently unfolding in the Adigam Devsar area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district, according to a statement from Kashmir Zone Police on Saturday morning.
The Kashmir Zone Police confirmed the operation via a post on X, stating, “Encounter has started at Adigam Devsar area of #Kulgam. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.”
This latest operation comes as part of ongoing counter-terrorism efforts in the region. The situation remains tense as security forces work to neutralize the threat, with additional information expected as the operation continues.
Earlier, on September 22, a similar encounter took place between security personnel and terrorists in the Chatroo area of the Kishtwar district.
