Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarks on a three-day visit to Odisha, starting today. During his visit, he will participate in several events, including the All India Conference of Directors General and Inspectors General of Police in Bhubaneswar.
The conference will also be attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Police chiefs from all states, along with leaders from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), National Security Guard (NSG), Vigilance Bureau, and Special Protection Group (SPG), will also take part.
Discussions will focus on national security challenges and the evolving responsibilities of law enforcement. Issues such as internal security, cybercrime, the Maoist insurgency, emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and drones, and counterterrorism strategies are expected to be addressed.
Additionally, PM Modi will meet with BJP MPs, MLAs, and party officials at the BJP headquarters in Bhubaneswar later this evening.
