Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in a message to Adish C. Aggarwala, former Chief of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), lauded the newly published book ‘Modi’s Niti Shastra: The World’s His Oyster’, highlighting the transformative leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The book, authored by Aggarwala, explores PM Modi’s vision for public welfare, governance, and India’s global stature. Shah congratulated the author and the publishing team for documenting PM Modi’s remarkable journey from Chief Minister of Gujarat to India’s longest-serving Prime Minister, credited with implementing unprecedented reforms and nation-building initiatives.
Shah emphasized that judicial, social, economic, and administrative reforms are vital measures of a leader’s legacy, asserting that PM Modi’s tenure sets a benchmark for public welfare.
“The history of Modiji’s public life sets the highest standard for any social worker,” Shah stated, applauding Modi’s vision to empower marginalized groups, including the poor, women, farmers, and youth. He highlighted key reforms under Modi’s leadership, such as the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the abolition of triple talaq, and transformative criminal justice laws.
Shah praised PM Modi’s ability to balance India’s heritage with progressive governance. “Through Modiji’s public life, we see how public welfare and respect for heritage can coexist,” he remarked, adding that the book will inspire readers to contribute to nation-building.
Shah’s message, delivered on the occasion of Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, also acknowledged Modi’s efforts in dismantling colonial-era legal structures and replacing them with contemporary, efficient laws to promote “Minimum Government, Maximum Governance.”
Dr. Aggarwala’s book details India’s rise as a global trailblazer in governance and legal reforms under Modi’s leadership. It highlights how groundbreaking laws in criminal justice, economics, and welfare have positioned India as a model for other nations.
The book also underscores the transformation in India’s national security approach, with laws aimed at safeguarding citizens and bolstering national security. India’s efforts in curbing corruption and violence have created a more secure and transparent society.
