IDF eliminates Hamas terrorists involved in October 7 massacre

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of six Hamas terrorists directly involved in the October 7 massacre in Israel, during targeted operations in Gaza’s Jabaliya and Beit Lahia regions.

The joint operations, conducted in collaboration with the Israel Security Agency (ISA), resulted in the deaths of key individuals responsible for the brutal attack. Those neutralized included Mohammed Abd al-Hamid Salah, Zaher Abd Rabbo Mohammed Shahab, Ali Magad Ali Ramadan, and Mohammed Hamouda.

Among the prominent figures eliminated was Rasem Judeh, a Hamas company commander in Jabaliya, who played a pivotal role in the October 7 assault. Judeh was killed alongside four other Hamas commanders and five additional operatives. In total, 14 terrorists, including six involved in the infiltration of Israeli territory, were neutralized.

“The IDF and ISA will continue to operate against every terrorist who participated in the brutal October 7 massacre,” the IDF affirmed in a statement on X.

IDF International Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani provided further updates, revealing that approximately 240 members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad were apprehended for investigation. Additionally, around 20 terrorists were eliminated during close-quarter combat operations, which also dismantled powerful explosive devices planted by the militants.

Of those detained, 15 were identified as having infiltrated Israel during the October 7 attack, where they participated directly in the atrocities.

The operations are part of an ongoing effort by the IDF to dismantle Hamas’ terror network and ensure the safety of Israeli civilians. “More details to follow,” Shoshani said.
