Growth in India’s real estate sector fuels demand for premium bathroom solutions

India’s sanitary ware market is undergoing rapid growth, driven by factors such as urbanization, rising incomes, and an increasing demand for modern, stylish bathroom products. With a strong push for improved sanitation and eco-friendly solutions, supported by initiatives like the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,” the market is also seeing significant innovation in design, materials, and water efficiency. Currently valued at approximately Rs 539.5 billion (USD 6.5 billion), the market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.74% over the next five years.

Amid this expansion, global kitchen and bathroom solutions company Moen has announced a strategic partnership with Bathline Acquaviva Group to enter India’s rapidly growing sanitary ware market. The collaboration combines Moen’s global expertise in innovation and sustainability with Bathline Acquaviva’s extensive experience in the Indian premium market, with the goal of redefining the premium bathroom solutions landscape in the country.

The partnership seeks to meet the evolving demands of Indian consumers by offering high-quality, sustainable products. With rising incomes and a booming real estate sector, demand for premium bathroom solutions is on the rise. Moen has also unveiled its first Experience Centre in New Delhi.

Vinay Gupta, Chairman of Bathline Acquaviva Group, expressed confidence in the partnership, stating, “Together, we are confident we will deliver exceptional solutions that reflect both style and sustainability.”
