The Prime Volleyball League (PVL) is gearing up for its highly anticipated fourth season, set to kick off on October 2. After three seasons of intense, action-packed matches featuring both international and Indian stars, the upcoming season promises to deliver even bigger and better volleyball action for fans across India.
The journey to PVL Season 4 begins with the player auctions, scheduled for June 8 in Kozhikode. Franchise owners will have the opportunity to build their squads from a pool of talented players, setting the stage for another competitive and thrilling season of volleyball. Kozhikode, known for its rich volleyball culture, becomes the fourth city to host the PVL auction.
Player registrations for the auction will open on May 1, giving aspiring athletes until May 31 to register and compete for a chance to play at the highest level of professional volleyball in India.
Joy Bhattacharjya, CEO of Prime Volleyball League, expressed excitement about the upcoming season, stating, “PVL has become one of India’s most exciting sports leagues, and Season 4 is poised to raise the bar even higher. The fact that we’ve had three different champions in three seasons reflects the high level of competition and how unpredictable the league has become.”
