The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2025, conducted on May 25. Candidates with the roll numbers listed in the official results have qualified for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2025, the UPSC stated in a release.
The candidature of the qualified candidates remains provisional, subject to fulfilling specific requirements. From June 16 to June 25, a window will be available on the UPSC website (https://upsc.gov.in) for candidates to submit or update details, including a Rs. 200 fee for the Main Examination (exempt for female, PwBD, SC, and ST candidates), scribe details, assistive device requirements, and question paper font size preferences for the Mains. Candidates who have changed their names since matriculation or face discrepancies in their application details must also submit relevant gazette notifications during this period.
The results of four candidates with roll numbers 7004555, 6305469, 6413314, and 6610122 have been withheld pending the outcome of ongoing court cases.
The UPSC clarified that marks, cut-off marks, and answer keys for the Preliminary Examination will be released on its website only after the entire Civil Services Examination, 2025, and Indian Forest Service Examination, 2025, processes conclude, following the declaration of final results.
