Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said it was a delight to meet top executives from TVS Motor Company and commended them for their efforts in capturing the beauty of Kutch.
Venu Srinivasan, Chairman Emeritus of TVS Motor Company, and Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director, met the Prime Minister and presented him with the TVSM x Rann Utsav 2025 Coffee Table Book.
“Glad to have met Shri Venu Srinivasan Ji and Mr. Sudarshan Venu. I commend them for their effort to chronicle the beauty of Kutch and also encourage motorcyclists to visit the region,” the Prime Minister said in a post on X.
The executives described the meeting as an honour.
“In February this year, TVS Motor Company, in partnership with Gujarat Tourism, curated an extraordinary motorcycling experience at Rann Utsav, showcasing the region’s culture, landscapes, and heritage — inspired by PM Modi’s vision to promote Kutch as a tourist destination among the youth,” they said on X.
The coffee table book highlights Kutch’s rich heritage and mesmerising landscapes.Created around the theme Saari Muzaafiri, the book captures key locations and destinations in the Rann of Kutch from dawn to dusk, offering a visual treat for readers.
“We can say with certainty that Kutch is a motorcyclist’s delight! Come, bike there… you will be awestruck for life,” Srinivasan said on X.
Earlier this year, PM Modi had invited everyone to Gujarat’s iconic Rann Utsav, which concluded in March.
Promising an unforgettable experience for hodophiles, PM Modi shared a video on X capturing the scenic beauty of Kutch, writing, “Kutch awaits you all! Come, discover the pristine White Rann, the spectacular culture, and the warm hospitality of Kutch during the ongoing Rann Utsav.”
In a separate LinkedIn post, the Prime Minister wrote: “The White Rann beckons! An unforgettable experience awaits! Come, immerse yourself in a unique mix of culture, history, and breathtaking natural beauty.” The post also featured photos from his visit to Kutch, along with a write-up titled Rann Utsav – A Lifetime Experience.
