The Summer Annuals of Amrit Udyan will be accessible to the public from August 16 to September 14, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily, with the last entry at 5:15 PM. The garden will remain closed on all Mondays for maintenance.
To celebrate National Sports Day and Teachers’ Day, special access will be granted to athletes and sportspersons on August 29 and to teachers on September 5, respectively.
Entry to Amrit Udyan, located at Rashtrapati Bhavan, will be free of charge, with visitors required to enter and exit through Gate No. 35 near North Avenue Road. Online booking for visit slots is available at visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in, while walk-in visitors can register at self-service kiosks outside Gate No. 35. Visitors are permitted to carry mobile phones, electronic keys, purses, handbags, water bottles, baby milk bottles, and umbrellas, but no other items will be allowed inside.
The garden trail will feature attractions such as Bal Vatika, Herbal Garden, Bonsai Garden, Central Lawn, Long Garden, and Circular Garden. QR codes placed along the circuit will provide information on various plants and design elements.
This year, a new feature called Babbling Brook will enhance the visitor experience. The landscaped zone includes a meandering water stream with cascades, sculptural spouts, stepping stones, and a raised reflecting pool. Additionally, a tranquil Banyan Grove with reflexology paths, Panchtatva trails, and forest-inspired soundscapes, along with a serene Herbal and Plumeria Garden featuring grass mounds and curated plantations, will offer immersive sensory experiences.
