Manika Vishwakarma from Rajasthan has been crowned Miss Universe India 2025, triumphing over 48 contestants from across the country at a glittering finale in Jaipur. She will now represent India at the Miss Universe pageant to be held in Thailand this November.
Manika, who hails from Sri Ganganagar, described her victory as a story of courage and determination. Raised in a modest family, she pursued her education at Delhi University, graduating in Political Science and Economics. Alongside academics, she has been an NCC cadet, a classical dancer, and an artist recognised by the Lalit Kala Academy and the J.J. School of Arts.
Beyond the stage, she is the founder of Neuronova, an initiative that works to create awareness about neurodivergence, including conditions such as ADHD and autism. She has often said that these are not weaknesses but unique expressions of human potential.
Manika’s journey has also carried her into international forums. She represented India at the BIMSTEC Sewocon, where her perspectives on policy and society drew praise. Earlier, she was crowned Miss Universe Rajasthan, carrying her state’s culture and traditions with pride onto the national stage.
As she prepares for the global contest, Manika has become an inspiration for many young women aspiring to break barriers. At the finale, her confident walk to the tune of the iconic song Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jaana Sanam drew applause from the audience, who described it as a moment that reflected not just grace, but self-assurance.
