Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth to host 30th National Seminar on Ayurvedic Paediatric Healthcare in Delhi

Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Ayush, will host its 30th National Seminar on “Management of Illness & Wellness in Paediatrics through Ayurveda” on August 18-19, at the Scope Complex Auditorium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The two-day event aims to unite scholars, practitioners, researchers, and students to explore traditional Ayurvedic approaches alongside evidence-based practices to enhance child health and wellness.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently emphasized the role of traditional medicine in fostering a healthier society, stating, “Ayush is not merely a system of medicine, it is a holistic approach to life. By integrating Ayurveda and other traditional practices with modern healthcare, we can ensure wellness for every section of society, especially our children who are the future of the nation.”

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ayush and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav, underscored the significance of the seminar, saying, “Ayurveda has always emphasized nurturing the health of children as the foundation of a healthy society. This seminar is a timely initiative to highlight Ayurveda’s holistic approach to managing illness and promoting wellness in children. The discussions will enrich practitioners, researchers, and students, contributing to advancements in paediatric healthcare through Ayurveda.”

Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush and Padma Shri awardee, highlighted the seminar’s role in fostering collaboration, noting, “This event offers a valuable platform for the Ayurveda fraternity to exchange ideas and inspire new perspectives. It will strengthen evidence-based practices and bridge classical wisdom with modern healthcare needs in paediatric Ayurveda.”

The seminar will feature scientific research paper presentations, poster sessions by young scholars, and interactive discussions on preventive and promotive healthcare for children. Participants will receive a seminar kit, souvenir, credit points, and participation certificates. Vaidya Devinder Triguna, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardee and President of RAV’s Governing Body, will also participate in the deliberations.

The event aims to advance knowledge, share innovations, and promote collaborative research in paediatric Ayurveda. Registration is mandatory and can be completed at https://forms.gle/1dosxPcMsPC6zkRT7. RAV has invited academicians, researchers, practitioners, and students to join this national initiative to shape the future of holistic child healthcare through Ayurveda.
