The Department of Health Research (DHR) has announced the implementation of Special Campaign 5.0 from 2nd to 31st October, aimed at institutionalizing cleanliness practices and reducing pendency across its offices. The campaign will be carried out at DHR, ICMR Headquarters, and 27 affiliated institutes nationwide.
This year, the campaign will prioritize e-waste disposal, along with enhancing office cleanliness and ensuring proper record management. Instructions have already been issued to identify e-waste for disposal during the campaign period.
In addition to cleanliness, the department will focus on clearing pendency in PMO and MP references and ensuring adherence to established record management systems. An office memorandum outlining these directives was issued on 15th September 2025.
During the campaign, dedicated efforts will be made to achieve targets set during the preparatory phase and to ensure comprehensive Swachhata practices across all offices under the Department of Health Research. Progress will be closely monitored by the designated Nodal Officer.
Special Campaign 5.0 reaffirms DHR’s commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment while promoting sustainable e-waste management practices nationwide.
