A host of Bollywood actors and prominent personalities on Wednesday extended wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, praising his leadership, dedication, and contribution to the nation.
Actor Akshay Kumar wished the Prime Minister “a long life and good health,” posting on X: “Heartfelt birthday wishes on your 75th birthday, @narendramodi ji. This is my prayer from the heart that you be blessed with long life and good health… May you continue to take India to new heights. Happy Birthday, Captain.”
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan described PM Modi’s journey from “a small city to the global stage” as deeply inspiring. In a video posted on X, he said: “In this story, I can see your discipline, your hard work and your dedication towards your country. At 75, your pace and energy leave even young people like us behind. I pray you always remain healthy, strong and happy.”
Actor Aamir Khan also shared a video message, wishing the Prime Minister a long and healthy life. “The contributions you have made for the development of our country will always be remembered… May God give you strength so you can continue to lead India forward towards progress and advancement,” he said.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher called PM Modi a “role model for people of all ages,” recalling his first meeting with him during his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister. In an Instagram post, he wrote: “You have given us many reasons to feel proud of India. We are fortunate to have a Prime Minister like you.”
Several other celebrities joined in the celebrations, including Riteish Deshmukh, Kangana Ranaut, Sonu Sood, Paresh Rawal, Jackie Shroff, Hema Malini, Suniel Shetty, and Kirron Kher.
Riteish Deshmukh shared a picture of PM Modi, writing: “May God bless you with great health and long life, sir.”
Paresh Rawal posted: “I pray to God to grant a long and healthy life to our beloved Honourable Prime Minister.”
Sonu Sood added: “History remembers those who reshape the future… May your journey remain as fearless as your vision.”
Suniel Shetty lauded the PM’s “tireless service and unwavering commitment to the nation,” while Kangana Ranaut called him “the true son of Maa Bharti and the country’s most popular leader.”
Jackie Shroff posted a video and wrote: “Good health and happiness always! Janam Din ki Shubhkaamnaye @narendramodi.”
Kirron Kher shared a picture with the PM praising his “honest and fearless leadership,” while music composer Shankar Mahadevan and lyricist Prasoon Joshi dedicated a special patriotic song to mark the occasion.
