The IMD has advised caution due to the risk of extremely heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha on September 2, in Gujarat between September 4 and 6, and in Saurashtra and Kutch on September 6 and 7. Very heavy rainfall is also likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, East and West Madhya Pradesh, East and West Rajasthan over the next few days.

In the Delhi-NCR region, generally cloudy skies will persist between September 2 and 5, accompanied by light to moderate rain and thundershowers.

On Tuesday, isolated heavy showers are likely during the afternoon and evening. Maximum temperatures are expected to remain below normal, ranging between 29 and 31°C, while winds from the southeast could reach speeds of up to 25 kmph.
