New India does not fear nuclear threats, says PM Modi in Dhar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday lauded the Indian armed forces for Operation Sindoor, asserting that the strikes “brought Pakistan to its knees in the blink of an eye” and declaring that the “New India” does not fear nuclear threats.

Addressing a rally in Dhar, PM Modi said the nation gives utmost priority to the security of Maa Bharti. “Pakistani terrorists wiped the Sindoor of our sisters and daughters. We carried out Operation Sindoor and destroyed terror camps. Our brave armed forces brought Pakistan to its knees in the blink of an eye,” he said.

Referring to a viral video of a Pakistani terrorist, PM Modi added, “Just yesterday, the country and the world saw how a Pakistani terrorist broke down narrating his ordeal. This is the New India, which does not fear nuclear threats. It enters the enemy’s house and strikes.”

While the Prime Minister did not name the group, the viral video purportedly showed a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander admitting that Indian forces, under Operation Sindoor, left the family of terror mastermind Masood Azhar devastated during strikes on the group’s headquarters in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, on May 7. The operation was carried out in response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.

Marking his 75th birthday, PM Modi also launched the ‘Swasth Nari Shashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’ in Dhar, along with several development projects. These included the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah campaign, the inauguration of the Aadi Seva Parv, and the foundation stone for the PM Mitra Park at Bhainsola village.

The PM Mitra Park, India’s largest integrated textile park, has been developed under the government’s 5F vision – Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Factory, Factory to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign. The park is expected to generate three lakh jobs, enhance farmers’ incomes, and strengthen India’s textile exports. Investment proposals worth over ₹23,140 crore have already been committed.

Highlighting the park’s significance, the Prime Minister said:
“On the day of Vishwakarma Jayanti, the foundation stone of the country’s largest integrated textile park has been laid here. This park will boost India’s textile industry, ensure fair value for farmers, and create large-scale employment opportunities for youth and women.”
