Political leaders across the country on Wednesday extended greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, lauding his leadership, vision and contribution to India’s growth.
President Droupadi Murmu led the wishes, praising the Prime Minister’s dedication and transformative governance. In a post on X, she wrote, “Heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to the Prime Minister of India, Shri @narendramodi ji. By exemplifying the pinnacle of hard work through your extraordinary leadership, you have instilled a culture of achieving great goals in the country.”
The President added that PM Modi’s leadership had earned trust not only within the nation but also globally. “Today, the global community is also expressing its faith in your guidance. I pray to God that you remain forever healthy and joyful, and with your unique leadership, lead the nation to new heights of progress,” she said.
In response, PM Modi thanked the President for her wishes on X, saying: “With the affection and cooperation of 140 crore fellow citizens, we will always remain dedicated to building a strong, capable and self-reliant India. In this direction, your vision and thoughts are very inspiring for us.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended greetings to the Prime Minister, calling him a symbol of sacrifice and dedication. In a post on X, Shah said: “Symbol of sacrifice and dedication, inspiration for crores of countrymen, heartfelt birthday wishes to Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji on his 75th birthday. Modi ji, who has been working tirelessly, without stopping or tiring, for the welfare of the countrymen for more than five decades in social life, is a living inspiration of ‘Nation First’ for every citizen.”
Union Information and Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion. In a post on X in Hindi, he said: “Heartfelt salutations to the Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji on his sacred birthday, who has given India a new direction, new inspiration, and new energy. By following the path shown by you, India will prosper, be empowered, and fulfill the resolve of becoming a developed nation by 2047.”
Piyush Goyal also wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday and lauded him for dedicating his life to serving the nation. Speaking to ANI on the Prime Minister’s birthday eve, on Tuesday, the Union Minister said, “The Prime Minister spent his life dedicated to the nation’s service without a spot. I bestow my best wishes and pray that God give him a long and healthy life. He has always worked to ensure the benefits of welfare schemes are reaching each and every citizen of the country.”
Hailing the PM, Goyal said, “He dedicated 50 years to serving society and the nation, and received 27 international awards and is a very popular and decisive leader.”
Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wished him good health. In a post on X, Gandhi said, “Wishing Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji a happy birthday and good health.”
Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge also took to social media to extend his wishes. “Best wishes to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health and a long life,” he posted on X.
As the Prime Minister celebrated his milestone birthday, leaders across states continued to underline his policies, governance style and vision for a self-reliant and developed India.
