Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the National Conclave 2025 on ‘Viksit Bharat and Ex-Servicemen Welfare’ on September 29, organized by the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DESW), Ministry of Defence. The two-day event, scheduled for September 29-30, aims to enhance efforts for the well-being and reintegration of India’s veterans
The conclave will bring together representatives from Rajya Sainik Boards (RSBs) and Zila Sainik Boards (ZSBs) across the country, along with key stakeholders, to discuss grassroots-level initiatives. Secretary (DESW) Dr. Niten Chandra will also attend the event. The deliberations will focus on sharing best practices, strengthening support systems, and ensuring effective delivery of welfare schemes to veterans.
A key highlight of the conclave will be a recognition ceremony, where the Defence Minister will honour distinguished individuals and top-performing RSBs and ZSBs for their exemplary contributions to ex-servicemen welfare. The ceremony aims to acknowledge their dedication and inspire continued efforts to empower veterans as vital contributors to the vision of Viksit Bharat.
