Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia on Monday launched an AI-powered mobile application for the upcoming India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, terming the platform a gateway to “connections, collaborations and outcomes.”
The 9th edition of IMC, themed “Innovate to Transform”, will be held from October 8-11 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in Dwarka, New Delhi.
The app comes with real-time features including live streaming of sessions, AI-driven personalised recommendations, networking tools for startups and participants, and a built-in chatbot for instant event assistance. It also offers short AI-generated video highlights, live polls, contests, and an interactive photo booth.
“India Mobile Congress is not just an event but a platform of possibilities. With this app, we are turning those possibilities into outcomes,” Scindia said at the launch.
IMC 2025 will showcase over 1,000 use cases in 5G/6G, AI, IoT, quantum computing, semiconductors, clean tech and smart mobility. The event is co-hosted by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).
Registrations for delegates, startups, students, media and academia have opened on the official IMC website.
