The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has introduced the FASTag Annual Pass as a perfect festive gift this Diwali, offering travelers a seamless and economical way to navigate National Highways and Expressways across India. Available through the Rajmargyatra app, the pass can be gifted by adding the recipient’s vehicle number and contact details, followed by a simple OTP verification to activate it on the vehicle’s existing FASTag.
Priced at a one-time fee of Rs 3,000, the FASTag Annual Pass provides year-long validity or up to 200 toll plaza crossings, eliminating the need for frequent recharges. Applicable to all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag, the pass is operational at approximately 1,150 toll plazas nationwide. Once purchased through the Rajmargyatra app, the pass activates within two hours on the linked FASTag, ensuring a smooth travel experience.
Since its launch on August 15, the FASTag Annual Pass has gained significant traction, crossing 25 lakh users and recording 5.67 crore transactions within just two months.
