The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has extended the application window for Round 4 of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for White Goods — covering Air Conditioners (ACs) and LED Lights — till 10th November 2025.
Originally open from 15th September to 14th October 2025, the deadline has been extended in response to the strong industry interest and increasing investment appetite under the scheme. This reflects growing confidence in domestic manufacturing of key components of ACs and LED Lights in India.
Earlier rounds of the PLI-WG Scheme have attracted significant investment commitments, boosting manufacturing capacity and generating employment across the value chain.
Launched in April 2021 with a total outlay of ₹6,238 crore, the scheme aims to strengthen domestic production, promote component localization, and enhance India’s global competitiveness in the air conditioner and LED lighting sectors.
Eligible applicants can submit their proposals online through the PLI portal https://pliwg.dpiit.gov.in
under the “White Goods” category by 10th November 2025.
