The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has invited Indian citizens to participate in a creative initiative by designing the official logo for the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM). The contest, aimed at engaging the country’s creative minds, seeks a logo that reflects India’s ambition to emerge as a global hub for green hydrogen production, usage, and export.
The National Green Hydrogen Mission is envisioned as a comprehensive action plan to establish a robust Green Hydrogen ecosystem in India. The initiative is expected to accelerate the decarbonisation of the economy, reduce reliance on fossil fuel imports, and position India as a leader in green hydrogen technology and market development.
The MNRE has opened the contest to all Indian citizens, irrespective of age. The logo should capture the essence of the mission, highlighting self-reliance, investment potential, and the utility of green hydrogen across multiple sectors such as steel, transport, fertilizer, shipping, and petrochemicals.
Participants are required to submit their entries in high-resolution JPEG, PNG, or PDF formats, with minimum 300 DPI and dimensions of 15cm X 20cm. Submissions will be evaluated by an internal MNRE committee on creativity, originality, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit, visual impact, and alignment with the objectives of NGHM.
The winner of the contest will receive a cash prize of ₹1,00,000 along with a certificate of recognition from the Mission Director of NGHM. Additionally, the winning participant will be reimbursed for round-trip domestic economy class airfare to New Delhi. Ten runners-up will receive ₹5,000 each.
The last date for submission is November 5, 2025. Participants can register and upload their entries through the MyGov portal at https://www.mygov.in/task/logo-design-contest-national-green-hydrogen-mission/
