Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mumbai on October 29, where he is scheduled to address the Maritime Leaders Conclave and chair the Global Maritime CEO Forum at India Maritime Week (IMW) 2025. The event will take place at the NESCO Exhibition Centre at around 4:00 PM.
The Global Maritime CEO Forum, the flagship event of India Maritime Week 2025, will bring together global maritime leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the future of the global maritime ecosystem. Key topics on the agenda include sustainable maritime growth, resilient supply chains, green shipping, and the inclusive blue economy.
PM Modi’s participation underscores his commitment to driving an ambitious and future-ready maritime transformation under the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047. The long-term vision rests on four strategic pillars – port-led development, shipping and shipbuilding, seamless logistics, and maritime skill-building – aimed at positioning India among the world’s leading maritime powers.
India Maritime Week 2025, being held from October 27 to 31 under the theme “Uniting Oceans, One Maritime Vision”, serves as the Government of India’s premier global platform to advance this vision. The event highlights India’s efforts to strengthen its role in global trade, port modernization, shipbuilding, cruise tourism, and blue economy finance.
This year’s edition is expected to witness participation from over 85 countries, featuring more than 1,00,000 delegates, 500+ exhibitors, and 350+ international speakers, making it one of the largest maritime gatherings in the world.
